American 2 Mile Road Race & Baby Blitz Dash (Cash prize $)

A 2 mile road race with prize money 10 deep for men and women! Also get a chance to win a brand new top of the line BOB jogging stroller in our free 'Baby Blitz' dash or free stroller drawing with registration. All on a fun, easy, and accurate course .

Reckless Running & Alot Sports present a unique, open to all-comers 2 mile race course that runs through Lake Norman's scenic Jetton Park. Nestled inside the enclosed park roads, our tree-lined course allows for a fast 2 miles on an easy loop surrounded by playgrounds, shaded picnic and common areas, and a lakefront beach.

Our Baby Blitz dash is1200meters (less than a mile) & will take place just prior to our 2 mile race. Entry is free with 2 mile race registration. All runners are welcome to run both race (foot race-no stroller needed). 1st across the finish in the Baby Blitz will win a brand New BOB Revolution jogging stroller!

Race Details:	All are welcome to register. Just lace up, show up, have fun and try your best to win some money!
$ Prize Money $:	CASH PRIZE MONEY($2 BILLS) 1st $250; 2nd $150; 3rd $100 4th $100, 5th $100 6th $50 7th $50 8th $50 9th $50 10th $50 PLUS a $100 800-meter & $200 1-mile bonus for the first male & female to cross these markers (must finish race). Prize money applies to top 10 male and female runners.
Baby Blitz:	All race registrants are welcome to run the Baby Blitz for free! This will be a1200meter(3/4 mile) race held 15 minutes before the 2 mile start. It is a normal foot race 1st runner across the finish will win a brand new BOB jogging stroller worth upwards of $350!
Free kids fun run:	All children under 10yrs old are welcome to race our fun for free! It will be a safe and easy 1200m(3/4 mile loop) in Jetton park starting and finishing at a great playground. The race will begin after our 2 mlle race is complete; around 9:15 am
FAQ:	Free parking is available in Jetton Park until 8:00 AM. Racers arriving after 8am will be able to park at the Harris Teeter lot adjacent to the park. Anyone who registers for our race will receive a free race tshirt and a free pair of Defeet performance running socks!
