Dads & Daughters will unite on Saturday July 12 when Bear Foot Sports presents the Inaugural Atlanta Beat Dads and Daughters Crazy Eight Soccer Tournament.

This fun and exciting event will provide young ladies and their fathers a chance to share a totally cool soccer tournament experience together. The 8v8 games will feature 6 daughters and two dads on the field. Teams are limited to no more than 6 Dads. Dads must stay in designated areas as passers only. Passes must remain on the ground. Dads cannot score goals or play defense.

This unique soccer tournament will be held at the Sweetapple Soccer Fields off Crabapple Rd in Roswell, Georgia. Teams competing in Crazy Eights Atlanta Beat Dads & Daughters Soccer Tournament will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. The 8v8 matches feature four 8 minute quarters, with a 2 minute halftime. Size 4 balls will be used during all matches.

The tournament will feature four divisions: U-6, U-8, U-10 & U-12. Divisions will be limited to 16 teams, with the top team, from each four team bracket, advancing to the playoff round. The Dads and Daughters U-6 and U-8 games will be played on a 50x30 yard grass pitch with 4x4ft. goals and No Goal Keepers. Offsides does not apply. The Dads and Daughters U-10 and U-12 games will be played on a 60x40 yard grass pitch with 6x12 goals and Goal Keepers. Offsides does not apply, however, three line rule will be in effect.

Rosters will be limited to 14 players, 8 Daughters and 6 Dads with open substitution. A 10 point system is used to determine playoff teams. Tournament Finals will be played at Herndon Stadium following the Atlanta Beat Game on July 12, weather permitting. Divisional Champions and Runner Up teams in each division will receive unique individual player awards from the Atlanta Beat.
