The 8th Annual New Balance Girls on the Run 5K & Fun Run Presented by Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center brings together the greater Triangle community to celebrate young girls along their journey to choosing healthy lifestyles and adopting a strong sense of self. |
| Entry Fees: |
Early registration fee for all events ends at 12:00 midnight on March 27, 2010.
Late registration fee ends April 11, 2010 for the Competitive 5K Run/Walk and April 15, 2010 at 12 noon for Recreational 5K Fun Run/Walk and the 100 Yard Dash.

Registration fees are non-refundable. Event registrations are non-transferable between events, individuals or years. |

There will be NO week of race nor race day registration available for the Competitive 5K division. |

There will be NO race day registration for Competitive 5K division. |
| Timing: |
Chip timing will be used for the Competitive 5K race ONLY. Chips will be distributed on race day only and must be turned in immediately following the race. Participants will be charged $30 for lost chips.
Digital timing clock will be at finish line for Recreational 5K Run/Walk and 100 Yard Dash. |

| Team Competition: |
Sign up to be part of a team and compete against other teams. An award will be given to the team with the most entrants for all race distances combined. Teams and individual team members must be registered by 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 15, 2010 to be eligible for the award. |

Race results for the Competitive 5K only will be posted at www.gotrtriangle.org. |
| Parking: |
Parking for the race is available at and around the American Tobacco Campus. Signs will be posted on race day. Refer to race website at www.gotrtriangle.org for map of parking options. |

| Girls on the Run of the Triangle: |
Girls on the Run of the Triangle is a non-profit, character-building program that encourages girls ages 8 to 12 to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. The 12 week, 24 lesson curricula combines training for a 5K or 1 mile race with education to address all aspects of girls' development--their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being.
