The Pickens County YMCA Kids Triathlon is a fun, USAT-sanctioned event for young triathletes ages 5-13. There are two courses to choose from. The long course is a 100yd swim in an indoor 25yd pool, a 5K bike on hilly residential roads, and a 1/2 mile run around a sports field. The short course is on the same venue as the long course with distances of 50 yards for the swim, 1.5 miles for the bike and 1/4 mile for the run. All participants will receive a medal. More awards are given to overall and age group winners.
