Come out for a day of healthy living, for both you and the environment. The 2nd annual Earth Day celebration is a family event to promote healthy living by providing a fitness opportunity, while encouraging attendance and participation at the Earth Day Celebration. Proceeds from the event will provide financial resources to assist Habitat for Humanity in environmentally friendly building practices. All race entrants receive an Earth Day t-shirt made from recyclable material.
The certified 5k course is flat and winds it way in and out of downtown Monroe, with the finish adjacent to all the family friendly Earth Day activities.

The event will be chip timed for runners. Pick up race packets Friday April 16th from 8:00-4:00 at 500 N. Main Street, Suite 8, Monroe, NC 28110. Otherwise, packet pick up will be available race day before 7:30 in the City Hall parking lot off of Jefferson Street. |
