THE EVENT: FIRE 5k, Family Fun Run and BBQ Festival
Grab your running shoes, your family and friends! Get FIRED up for a great cause. Blaze a trail at the second annual Fire 5K. Earn your cool refreshment and plate of BBQ at the festival to follow the race. Join in the sense of community vision as we celebrate our past and look forward to our bright future.
THE CAUSE: The Ada Jenkins Center
The Ada Jenkins Center founders, staff, and board of directors strongly believe that unforeseen circumstances can place people of all walks of life at risk. Whether a family has to face illness, job loss, or other life situations, we know that all people have the ability to improve their lives, and we are here to help them do so. Working together to provide our neighbors with the tools for a better life is what The Ada Jenkins Center is all about.
OUR VISION:
To support the people of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and South Iredell County toward becoming better educated, healthier and more economically self-sufficient, empowering them for a better tomorrow.

Right off exit if northbound, left if southbound
Go through first traffic circle (stay in right lane)
In 2nd circle, turn right on Jetton. Take first left, into Harris Teeter Parking lot. -------------
To reach the Ada Jenkins Center from Harris-Teeter. Walk to back to Jetton, turn left, follow Jetton as it curves around. Continue to follow Jetton until you reach Gamble. Turn left on Gamble, Ada Jenkins Center visible from the intersection. (about 4 long blocks)-----------

From NC 115, turn into Davidson United Methodist Church Parking Lot------------
To reach Ada Jenkins Center from DUMC parking lot, return to 115, carefully cross 115, head toward south, turn right on Catawba (Fuel Pizza), turn right on Potts, Left on Jetton, Right on Gamble. Ada Jenkins Center visible from the intersection. (About 4.5 blocks)
