Tyler's Treehouse 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk is a Family Event for all ages!

Tyler's Treehouse, Inc. is a foundation established in memory of Tyler Scott who died at the age of 5 with brainstem glioma. The goal of the foundation is to find a cure for brainstem glioma.

Come particpate in a challenging certified 5K course which traverses through the Olde Georgetowne and Sharon Hills neigborhoods located behind the Harris YMCA off of Sharon Rd.You will get a WICKING tshirt in youth, women's or men's cut for participation in the 5K for 2012.

The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is an event for the whole family with strollers and wagons welcomed! All fun run/walk participants receive a prize and a cotton t-shirt if registered before August 25th.

Spirit Runner - Unable to attend or participate but would like to support our foundation? Register as a Spirit Runner and support Tyler's Treehouse "in spirit". Make sure you register before August 25th to be guaranteed a WICKING t-shirt.

Friday, September 7th:

- Packet Pick-up and race Registration 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Olde Georgetowne Swim Club.

Saturday, September 8th:

- 6:45 am Race Day Registration and timing chip pick-up

- 8:00 am 5K run start

- 9:00 am 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start

- 9:30 am Awards Ceremony

- 9:30 - 1:00 pm Post Race Celebration at Olde Georgetowne Pool.

There will be a Post-Race Celebration at Olde Georgetowne Pool with music, food, drinks and entertainment provided by our generous sponsors. Participants and their families are invited to come play in the pool immediately following the race.

Awards - Top Overall Male & Female and Male & Female Masters in 5K. (Excluded from age group award winners)

Top three Male & Female in 5K age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-45,46-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. All awards will be presented at the awards ceremony immediately following the completion of the 1 mile Fun Run/Walk, and will not be mailed.
