Sorry, but the online registration is no longer available for this event.

THE ACCESS TO SUCCESS STORY
The Second Annual Andrew Lovedale 5K will be held on Saturday, September 1 on the Davidson College cross country trails. $25 (adults) and $20 (students) online, and all pre-registered participants receive a dri-fit t-shirt and a goody bag. All proceeds benefit Access to Success, founded by former Davidson basketball player Andrew Lovedale to support underprivileged youth in Benin City, Nigeria, through programs based on faith, sports and education.

Access to Success was incorporated by former Davidson College men’s basketball player Andrew Lovedale, out of his continued desire to give back to his native Nigeria and share his philosophy of sports, faith and education.
While at Davidson, Andrew collected basketball shoes and practice gear discarded by teammates and took them to Nigeria each summer. In February 2009, Kicks from ‘Cats: The Andrew Lovedale Shoe Drive raised $15,000 and 10,500 pairs of shoes. It is now an annual event at a Daivdson men’s basketball game.
In 2009, Andrew and a team of Davidson students, staff and alumni delivered the shoes to Nigeria. He returned to Davidson and founded Access to Success to continue impacting the lives of underprivileged youth.
