Bring Out Your Old Running Shoes, Win a Gift Certificate!! Worst looking pair wins the prize.
For all volunteers, walkers, and runners.
At the Dairy Dash 5K on Saturday, September 15th, we are doing something new. Bring your worst looking pair of running shoes and you’ll be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate. You must have both shoes to qualify. Enter the shoes with SRR Publicity Director Elaine Brown, you will get a receipt for the shoes, and she’ll hold them for judging by a member of the Hoffner family, a Land Trust executive, and a running shoe professional. Run or volunteer at the race in the shoes and you will get an extra $25, and if the winner is a member of SRR, that is good for another $25. Top prize is a $100 gift certificate if you bring the shoes, run, walk, or volunteer in them, AND you are a member of SRR.
