Race Details: Race Details, Directions and Logistics: Join Duke Children’s Hospital, Bull City Running Co. and hundreds of other runners and walkers as we all Florence Forth on March 2, 2013. 10-mile race begins at 8:00am; the 5-k run/walk begins at 8:30am. Both races will be timed with chip. Stay after the race for music, food, door prizes, fun run and children’s activities. Race t-shirt NOT guaranteed for the registrants after 2/9/13! The Course: The 10-Mile course is a tour of many of Durham’s historic and verdant districts. It begins at Duke’s East Campus, runs through the funky “college town” of the 9 th Street district, down genteel oak-shaded boulevards, around a patchwork of both hip and sleepy neighborhoods, and past the gothic grandeur of Duke Chapel. Even long-time Durhamites will get to know their hometown a bit better. New visitors will see the best Durham has to offer.
